Graduation 2013.

*Photo credits to my dad, my brother, Florence, Kathy and Aunty Tracy.

THIS POST WILL CONTAIN TONS OF PHOTOS. :D

I have officially graduated from high school.

The event started at 10 a.m. About five minutes before, my classmates and I lined up quietly outside the theatrette (it is NOT a legit word idk) and waited for the announcement. When we heard someone introducing the graduating class, we walked in. I don't know about anyone else, but I felt tingly and had butterflies in my tummy. I wasn't nervous; just extremely excited.

And now I shall narrate my photos.

We started off with a time of worship.

Worship leader: Zhuang Lin; Backup singers: Jade, Brian, Praise; Acoustic guitarist: David; Bassist: Jo-Vann; Electric guitarist: Joe; Drummer: Michael; Keyboardists: Rachel & Mae-Z

The emcees were Jade and Joe, and they did a pretty good job. *applause*

Address by Ms Katherine, our President

Devotional message from Pastor Steven, our college advisor

And then our juniors dedicated a song to us, "Follow Your Heart" by Anthem Lights.
Appreciate your efforts guys! :) I'll miss you all so much.

Now onto the graduation exercise! :)
Look! I've officially graduated! :D
Then Pastor Prince prayed for us.
Then Ms Katherine announced one of my biggest achievements yet:
I was Valedictorian of 2013! Praise the Lord!

Happy moments like these. :')

I also made a speech! THAT was fun. :D

After that:
We sang the Doxology.
And had a group photo session with all the students, pastors, staff, teachers, and representative from the board of directors. :)
All glory goes to Him.
Now here comes the super fun but super nostalgic part. :')

My loving grandma who has attended almost all my awards ceremonies since primary school. :)
My amazing family. Thanks for all your never-ending support. :)

My fantastic classmates:

Look at us, all grown up and stuff. :')

And now moving on to my amazing teachers.

My adorable and sarcastic class teacher, Ms Joyce, my biology, add math and math teacher.

My funny and vocally-talented English teacher, Mr Eddy.

My  super nice teacher who taught me English and Math in CERC, Ms Yen Li
My History and Geography teacher (for the first year in CERC) and bible teacher (for the past three years), Mr George.

My Malay and Business Studies teacher, Ms Jacinta.

The administrator of the school, Ms Suh Shian.
And the President of the school, Ms Katherine.
Sadly I didn't get to take any photos with Ms Stella (devotions and Critical Thinking Skills teacher) & Mr Phillip (Accounts teacher) because they left really quick. :(

And next, two of my seniors who came back to attend our graduation as alumni.

With Victoria, my "twin".
And Natasha.
Now for some of my juniors! :)

Praise on the left and Jade on the right.
Zhuang Lin
Resha
The next two... "juniors" are pretty special, haha.

Le Chi, who is more of my cousin than my junior.
And Russell, who is sort of an ex-junior. He was my classmate in 2012 and one of my closest friends.

And of course, not forgetting...

Vivien! Thanks for coming!
And here it is:

my favourite photo of the ceremony.

After the event, we decided to go to the Quiet Garden and attempt some jumpshots in dresses. After a number of tries... we did it!

FREEDOM.

Time for the after-party.
Or more like outing. Or excursion. Or whatever you want to call it; we had a lot of fun anyway.

We headed to Sushi-Q for some Japanese snack time.

Kathy and I after devouring our sushi "platter". Or more like sushi in a bento box.

Then we headed to the arcade.

Carmen and I at the dance game. We are clearly not very good at this. *cries*
We attracted quite an audience though. *hides head in hole*

We also had a five-person challenge at Daytona, a racing game. Y'know, the typical arcade racecar games.

After we tired ourselves out at the arcade, we went to watch Ender's Game. Watching the movie without having a single bit of knowledge of what it is about, I'm surprised I actually enjoyed it. The whole concept is pretty cool, and...

Don't worry, no spoilers here. :)

Anyway, after that we had a ginormous dinner at Chicago, the steak house. The spaghetti carbonara is AMAZING. Florence also set up a fry-eating contest between Carmen and I with all the leftover fries. Both of us withdrew at the same time, and Carmen won by two fries. I was so full after that; my dress was suffocating me.

Then we took one of our last Strictly For Girls photos of the year.

*the photo is pretty lopsided, but I thought this was the best one.

I'll miss you guys so much.

Phew. That was the longest blog post ever. If you have stayed till the end, you are either my mom or one of my closer friends. And if you are neither of those, then congratulations! I appreciate your curiosity to read on. :)

Bye for now; hopefully I have the urge to blog again. See ya!
