yesterday and today.

Today was a hot, sweaty and tiring day. But first, let's rewind to yesterday morning.

23.5.13

Yesterday was Teachers' Day in our school. We had a little appreciation service for the teachers and staff of AIM College, during which I was the emcee. It was completely impromptu; it was the best emcee job ever. We had speeches from each class, messages to the teachers, represented by Leona for O2 and Keenan for O1. I've got to say that the teachers quite enjoyed what we had to say. After the service, we had lunch at Tange, where we treated the teachers for the meal. After lunch, we headed back to class where we took group photos and played games.

Around 2 pm, the six of us girls (KFCM2J) left for Florence's house. We cramped in Florence's mom's Harrier, along with Keenan, who decided to car pool with us. He sat in the car boot, which led us to calling it "smuggling a bangla in the trunk." It was a laugh.

By the way, the girls gave me a hard time for breaking a promise of bringing two movies and Taboo (the word game). I completely forgot to bring it for the sleepover so we kind of had nothing to do for awhile.

So, when we reached Flor's house, we played the Game Of Life. I have never seen this game so interesting. Usually it is quite boring to me, but this time, it was pretty fun. After that, we played the Dance Dance game on Flor's PlayStation, during which I sweated like nobody's business. It was some good workout. Then, Flor's mom said that dinner was ready so we went down, my stomach growling. Lasagna and spare ribs waited for us downstairs, and I've got to admit that the food was awesome. I ate darn a lot of lasagna. After dinner, we went to the playground/park. Scooters, slides, swings, seesaws, flying foxes, pepsi-cola (yes, the childhood game) and our laughter filled the evening. After some two hours, I was really tired and then we went back to the house.

After all of us showered, we watched Mean Girls (I finally watched it!). It was really funny. Since the movie kept pausing halfway, we got fed up. Carmen and I got hungry so we went downstairs, where Flor heated up leftover lasagna for us. NOM. We also had cookies and marshmallows. Awesome supper. When we were done with our food, we finished watching Mean Girls, and, surprisingly, went to sleep.

BREAKING NEWS: SIX GIRLS AT A SLEEPOVER SLEPT BEFORE 2 AM.

24.5.13

So we slept for about eight hours and woke up at 9 something the next day. For the first time, I felt refreshed on the morning of a sleepover. In the morning, we played card games (Speed and Uno), then went down for breakfast. We had sandwiches with egg mayo, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, lettuce etc. We also had mushroom bruschetta (did I spell that right?). There was leftover lasagna too. NOM.

Then we got ready to go out to Mid Valley Megamall. After getting ready, we all cramped again in Flor's brother's car (but this time, there was more space). When we reached Mid Valley, we met up with Zhen Yi (who got there really early) and walked around for a bit while waiting for Keenan and Bryan to arrive.

After Keenan and Bryan arrived, we went to play...

LASER TAG! :D :D

It was super fun. And super tiring too. We played twice, and I bumped into Ashley, an ex-school mate, at the laser tag place. Our group played with her friends twice. My score was the highest in the team twice! Sadly, though, our team never won because the other teams were just too good :(

After laser tag, I was sweating like crazy. I think I ran too much in the arena. EXERCISE OF THE YEAR. We were hungry (no lunch, I just realized) so we went to Sushi Q to grab some food. After I was done with my food, my family came to collect me and I left.

So there was my day! I'm still slightly unwell, but thank God I wasn't full-on sick during the sleepover.
