slightly stressed.

I wouldn't say I am extremely stressed, but you could say that I'm on the verge of breaking out into a frenzy of zits. So far, though, my hormones have been kind to my face.

Hi, this is Jessica, as you know. I'm currently taking a break from composing my bane of a BM (that's Bahasa Melayu, also known as the Malay language) essay. It's been three years since my UPSR exam and I've been regressing in the language since. My karangan skills are pretty much Standard 2 - level and my lack of vocabulary is just exasperating, for me. Even my grammar is failing, and my 'flair' of writing proper sentences in Malay is almost gone.

That said, you're probably wondering what the essay is for. It ain't for any usual BM class. It's not exactly homework. It's actually a preparation for...

THE BM SPEAKING TEST ON THE 25TH OF MARCH.
*cue loud dramatic music*

I'm almost freaking out now. The pressure is making my brain want to burst and splatter its contents all over the place. Sorry for the gory description, but I'm not in a roses-and-rainbows mood right now.

O-Levels is in eight months, and that itself is making me more stressed than ever. Some people would say it's nothing, just a secondary school standard examination. But it's the most advanced test I'm going to take so far in my life, so let me stress out, okay?

Achieving straight A's is not an easy task especially in IGCSE's. Unless you're some brainiac, that is. It's a possible result for me, but I've got to give my best, literally my BEST, because it's not going to do if I slack, laze around and type away on my phone (which is exactly what I'm doing now). The Whatsapp conversations need to be put away and those tweets need to stop getting refreshed because the books ain't going to study themselves.

Since my blog has been dead for a month plus, I've decided to post a long one to make up for the quiet weeks. So there. Eat your drugs; don't do school and go to vegetables.

I think I got that last sentence wrong.

Whatever.
